Women in Space!

Only 10% of astronauts are female, and in space engineering that number seems even worse. This blog is dedicated to put the Women in Space in the spotlight to educate and inspire a new generation.

I think this photo was taken just at the start of practice. The astronaut needs to be float neutrally at the right depth. For this the suit is fitted with packs of styrofoam, for example near the legs.
